Associate Membership - Show your support of law enforcement officers!
Associate Membership Benefits: An Associate Membership in the Fraternal Order of Police gives you the opportunity to show your support of law enforcement officers and their families. The program is a civilian affiliate of the Fraternal Order of Police, Pennsylvania State Lodge. Its members include families of law enforcement officers, responsible and respected business persons, professional men and women, and citizens from all walks of life.
Associate members receive an annual window decal and membership card that shows their of support law enforcement officers. In addition, members will receive a cast metal medallion that can be affixed to their vehicle or retained as a collectible. Members will have access to the president of Lodge 28, as well as the executive board at large. The Lodge will occcasionally send emails to its associate members to inform them of pertinent issues, and to invite them to lodge sponsored events.
Application Process: Interested individuals and businesses should complete a Membership Application (can be printed below). The application has a non-refundable $35.00 dollar fee. If an applicant is accepted, the fee will cover the dues for the first year. The annual membership fee is $25.00 dollars for existing members, and is payable to Fraternal Order of Police, Lower Merion Lodge #28 at the address below. Please note that a criminal backround check is required for all applicants, and will be conducted by the Lodge Executive Board as part of the application process.
All applications will be reviewed by the Lodge 28 Executive Board, and applicants will be contacted when a decision is rendered. Approved members will receive a welcome letter, a membership decal, a membership card, and a cast metal medallion. There is no appeal process for membership denial.
